Sometimes due to bad storage and improper cleaning procedures, a cast iron pot can rust. But it can be cleaned too. One can remove rust from a cast iron cooking pot. Here is the procedure- wipe the pot with a cloth. This helps to remove loose rust. After that wash it with soap and water, again wipe the cookware dry. Now apply edible oil to the entire surface of the cookware. Heat the pot on a gas stove or inside an OTG oven. Once the pot is cooled, store in a dry place
